About the GDPR
GDPR stands for General Data Privacy Regulation, a new EU Regulation that significantly enhances the protection of the personal data of EU citizens and increases the obligations on organizations who collect or process personal data.
The General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) is coming into force on 25 May 2018. The legislation will have a big impact on the way marketers approach their work and how organizations obtain, store, manage or process the personal data of EU citizens.
Companies should work to assess their own data collection and storage practices (including the ways they use HubSpot’s marketing and sales tools), seek their own legal advice to ensure that their business practices comply with the GDPR.
